Shungite Jewelry (self-care crystals)

It was my 41st birthday on the 17th. I've been celebrating all week with my partner, there has not been much to celebrate these past few months. I did received a new shipment of crystals from Madagascar. These are Celestite seed crystals, they are a bit chunkier than the Lemurian crystals. I find shungite very interesting, it appears to be a very strong mineral, not hard. When it finally breaks, you can see tiny raised ridges all flowing in what's best described as organic in resemblance. Depending on the grade of stone, thin veins of quartz and pyrite appear and cause the stone to break along those points firstly. When I get a batch of stone like this, it's hard to tell what rocks will make the cut and which will go to water filtration. I wash them outside in bright light, and sun then repeatedly. By this time I can start to see some detail and I will tentatively line them up on a separate tray. Shungite at first glance is nothing to gawk at, polishing it does not do it justice. It's best viewed in its raw form. I took the time to clean and really look at some of these stones and fell in love. I've only seen a little bit of this lovely golden fleck in the shungite I work with, it usually runs with a thin vein of quartz. It does add immensely to the overall character of any piece. I classify my rocks into usable groups, the long narrow and tear drop or tooth shaped stones wrap the best and sell. Smaller stones work well in combination with more crystals. The remaining flakes and bits will be used in Orgone and Orgonite creations, something I'm looking forward to doing this summer.
